Zombie Walk Highlights?
I’m interested to hear from people who participated in the zombie walk this last time… what were the highlights / lowlights?
I know mine, beginning with the highlights, were:
1) The show. That rocked. Post-walk I wasn’t sure how ACL fans would react to the music, but they seemed to love it. And the band… oh, you guys did great. I can’t express enough appreciation to everyone who played with us last night… damn.
2) The horde of zombies surrounding the ACL info volunteer and asking: “Brains? Braaaains?”
3) “Zombies Number 1!”
4) “Give me a B! R! N! What’s that spell?”
5) The fish and chips that Aaron bought me after the show. Thanks Aaron!
Lowlights:
1) Fake blood stuck in a beard for over 5 hours. My face has never felt so disgusting in my life.
2) The large number of people who were far too busy getting from point A to point B to think anything of a horde of zombies approaching them.
Overall, it was definitely a positive experience. Thoughts?

Favorite:
The great show and enormous support of the crowd. I think we actually stopped traffic for a little while (or at least slowed foot traffic to a trickle.)
Least favorite:
The non-response of ACL festival goers. When the invasion comes, their too-cool obliviousness will place them first against the wall. (Of…the mortuary?!) I’d sure I smelled foul after the show , too- my cat would have nothing to do with me untill I took a bath.

The show was aweome. I missed the walk. But I didnt go to ACL this year (for the first time) because in general I hate the crowd

It was amazing that so few people would even look in the direction of the zombies. I litterally had to walk up and harrass individuals to get any kind of reaction. If the zombie infestation would happen, I think the ACL goers are going to be brainfood for the brainless….lol….
