So, I’ve been having lots of people ask me, “Ian, where can we hear more of that crazy zombie rock sound?” Since the companion album to Bitten!, the Unbearables’ Just One Bite, is now finished being mixed and mastered, I’m going to make a series of posts letting you in on where you can listen to tracks from the album.

Here you can find the opening song to the show, “Sacrifice for Love,” and the second-act opener, “Zombies, Unite!” And, you can rate them and tag them so the site has more info about them. Show us the love, all you zombie people!

So, Friday night marked the official debut of the Zombie Rock Orchestra. From all reports, it was an epic mind-blowing performance. Did you miss it? Don’t do it again! Stay tuned for more times you can come check out the band.

Okay, so I was just checking out our site statistics the other day–only to find that we haven’t yet matched the traffic on our peak date, August 4th 2006–when I noticed that one of our top search strings is “sexy zombie pics.” This made me curious. Who’s looking for sexy zombie pics? Is there such a thing? So I ran the search, of course.

What came up was probably one of the weirdest zombie sites I’ve seen yet–which is saying quite a bit. Zombie Pinups. That’s right. Pinups. Of girls dressed as zombies.

So I guess there is such a thing as sexy zombie pics.

So, FamiliesRock! is, self-purportedly, “Austin’s Rock n Roll resource for Families with kids. Families Rock produces and lists shows and events that kids can ‘get in’ “. 

Anyways, they not only listed, but recommended last Friday’s show at Red’s Scoot Inn.

So last night was officially the most amazing show I’ve ever played in my lifetime. According to the numbers at the door, there were somewhere in the neighborhood of 120 people there when we played. And it only got better! Woo hoo!

All I can say right now is thank you to everyone who made last night possible. These people are too numerous to mention–but you know who you are. Thanks so much for a great night.

Alrighty, folks… tonight’s the night.

Come party down with us at our fundraiser benefit concert!  Thrill to the sounds of Midori Umi, Golden Bear, and the Lord Henry, PLUS get to experience the Zombie Rock Orchestra in our first official live debut.  It will be epic, no doubt about it.

Fun starts soon after 8 pm at Red’s Scoot Inn on 4th and Navasota.  There will be the silent auction, that looks to have some great prizes, and a scrumdelicious bake sale.  Hmmm, cookies…

So, we did get a tiny little mention in a Chronicle blurb last week.  I’m not entirely sure how zombies, protesters and zealots all put together make up Rocky Horror meets the Village People, but it makes sense in a very abstract way…
